We assume the Cheneys will raise Samuel to believe that his birth mother, their lesbianic daughter Mary, is his sister.

Though I do not approve of gay people having children, I certainly am happy for the Cheney family and wish them all the best.
I know that with their prestige and financial abilities, they can give the child the support he will need. Though I don't think exceptions should be made for wealthy people, certainly, in this case, an exception could be made.

Probably this boy will know many mommies. I pray that his maternal grandparents, Lynn and Dick, will provide the stability he will need.

I guess Dick Cheney is going to have to be the male influence in his life. At least that’s positive.
I hope Samuel will spent a lot of time with Grampa Dick. Can’t think of a better man to be a role-model, apart from a real father.
