NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE

HEAR OUR CRY, AMERICA.

If Scooter lied, it was a good lie. It was a lie meant to help people.

It was not a lie meant to hurt anybody.

DON'T PUNISH A GOOD MAN FOR TELLING A LITTLE WHITE LIE.

FREE SCOOTER.
FREE LIBBY NOW.

If you must jail somebody, here's a "candidate."

Dick Cheney for President
Keep Scooter a U.S. resident!

Forget this. We have to cut Scooter loose. It hurts, but look at everything else that need our IMMEDIATE attention. Russia, Iraq, Mexico...

The good guys lost this one. Let's move the hell on.

LAMB TOUGH,

NEVER. NEVER. NEVER.

WE WILL NEVER LEAVE SCOOTER LIBBY BEHIND, AND YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR EVEN SUGGESTING IT. YOU ARE A DISGRACE. I BET YOU WOULD SAY WE SHOULD FIRE CONDI, PULL OUT OF IRAQ, AND NAME BELLA PELOSI AS THE NEW SECRETARY OF PEACE? GET REAL. THIS IS THE FRONT. THIS IS THE BATTLE.

YOU HAVE NOT KEPT YOUR POWDER DRY.

YOUR POWDER IS VERY WET.

How ironic, the screwer becomes the screwee. With a name like "Scooter" and that sweet little tight white fanny, they will love you in prison.

Adminstrator,

Delete that above message.

No. On second thought, let it stand.

I want everybody to know the level of crap that is out there, and why Scooter Libby must never go to jail.

You are correct, wes mantooth. Judge Walton was being sarcastic when he stated the evidence against Scooter was "overwhelming". And it matters little that he was convicted in federal court where the jury was made up of fellow citizens of the U.S. Mr. Libby lied, and he obstructed a federal investigation. We shouldn't send him to prison, we should elect him to public office.

Maybe you should be in jail, cnystr. Ever think of that?

Have you ever lied? Not once?

Are the perfect child?

If you said yes, then you liked right there, in print, in front of the Internet. Which is actually worse than what Scooter did.

If you said, no, then you have lied. You are no better than Scooter.

Should we all be in jail? If we cut ourselves, do we not bleed?

You're correct edward r murrow, can I call you Edie? I think the more relevant question is, have I sinned? And yes, I have. But it's not about me. And it's not about you, Edie. I wasn't indicted. I don't work for the government. Whether I have ever lied is immaterial. Mr. Libby did. Repeatedly. If he is falling on his sword to protect others, then he's a good soldier. And a fool.

You may not call me Edie.

And don't ever call Scooter Libby a fool. I bet he's made more money that either of us, and he's probably done a lot better in the female sexuality thing than you have, though not necessarily than me, but that's a different story. I bet he has done a lot of things and seen a lot of things, and now he is sacrificing himself for a friend, and for that, he should not go to jail but to a 4-star hotel, as far as I'm concerned.

edward r murrow, if I let you call me Al, then can I call you Edie? I'm not certain generating more money than either of us is a good barometer of integrity or measure of a man. We'll see if the loyalty is returned by his friend(s). It is good to know you are such a stud muffin.

This isn't about me. It's about a man's life.

It's about a lifetime of public service being flushed down the toilet in the name of political tit-for-tattery.

Yeah, Scooter was found guilty. But if we've learned anything, it's that the U.S. Justice Department can be a political tool. And prosecutors, trying to bend backwards to appease media buffoons, will send a good man down the river.

Pardon my French. And pardon Scooter Libby's English.

Mr. Murrow, does Valerie Plame's life of public service count for anything? Does her outing help the other male and female operatives in the CIA do their job? Did Mr. Libby think of the far reaching ramifications of his act? Or is Dick Cheney, Mr. Libby's contemporary Rasputin or Svengali? N.B., Mr. Murrow, Scooter Libby is a lawyer himself, the product of some of the finest institutions of higher education in this country. He helped negotiate the presidential pardon or Marc Rich. I sense he knows the inside and outside the the law and the legal system pretty well. He made a mistake, a very costly mistake in terms of his career, his family, and his life. It is a tragedy. He got caught doing the dirty work for others. But there must be equal application of the law and equal justice for all, regardless of one's social status, position in life, and/or government. Would you rather we rule and judge by sharia? Maybe Mr. Libby should have just said, "No".

Maybe he should have kept his mouth shut. But he cared enough to lie.

That's right. He cared enough about his boss to lie.

That's a great employee and a man that Americans should be proud to have serving in a great administration.

So what are they going to do? Put him in jail.

I just hope your employees, when called upon to lie for you, are half the man that Scooter was, is, and always will be.

And in jail, everybody will know one thing: Scooter Libby will not snitch.

Man, the horseshit is really flying, pardon my French!

And I stand by my earlier post. While the two of you scrap over a LOST CAUSE, Hugo Chavez and Vladimir Pution are LAUGHING at you.
